Hello from Central California ....

Hello from central California, the hottest spot on the Earth! I'm a single father, raising two boys. My oldest is 18, has ADD. My youngest is 13, with ADHD. I'm ADD myself!

I'm working on getting my son evaluated so we can get an IEP going. Presently have a 504 Plan. Son failed 7th grade, largely because the school ignored my pleas for help ....

Part of the 504 Plan is to have my son go to the Homework Club after school. My son is very intelligent and his test scores are very high. His main problem is with his ADHD, emotional trauma, and various medical issues.

Went to a parent support group meeting last night. Saw the lady who will be our advocate. She leads the meetings and has many years experience and is confident that we will get what my son needs!
