Ants!!!

OMG - I have ants in my kitchen!! They are big and black, too!

I think that they might be carpenter ants, but I'm not too sure.

Has anyone had success getting rid of these?? If so, how?

The more natural the better....

Yes but not naturally. I use ant baits. It just took a few days to get rid of them. They are so annoying

Corn meal! The ants will take it back to the nest but can't digest it so it kills them. I had ants coming in my bathroom, but a little pile of corn meal behind the sink took care of it.

We used diamentaceous earth around the perimeter of the house. I think it worked since the ants aren't coming in anymore. It doesn't kill the ants right away though and I think it has to stay dry.

Mine were just little regular black ants but I don't think any ants can eat it. Try googling "ants and corn meal". I found a bunch of stuff. Hope they vacate soon!
