What are your homeschoolers learning today?

(I like these threads because I get ideas that I hadn't thought of before.)

my husband is getting ready to take my dd's friend home. my kids will probably swim, jump on the trampoline, watch netflix. i plan to work in the garden and mow the front lawn. tonight my little boy has his last t-ball game & i hope he gets a trophy or something (he really wants one). tomorrow my SIL is coming in town with her 4 kids.... it's going to be a lot of fun but totally exhausting. that's about it.

We went for a run/bike ride/stroller ride. Then directly to the pool. It was really nice b/c Laney had fallen asleep on the run and stayed asleep at the pool for about a half hour. It was nice (and seemed sooo easy) to just have 3 in the water with me.

Now, we're back home. Noah is reading Harry Potter. We had lunch. Rowan and Lilah are playing with legos with a neighbor.

In 2 minutes, all my kids will come upstairs. I'll read aloud- Rowan will choose his book, I'm reading "On the Shores of Silver Lake" to the oldest 2. Then we'll have quiet time for 45 minutes. Hopefully I'll get to sleep with Laney.

Probably back to the pool later.

Tomorrow we'll finish up Noah's Language Arts main lesson books and be officially done with second grade!

This morning 9yo ds, 6 yo dd and 4yo ds colored the picture pages that go along with Story of the World Vol 1 Ch 1. We talked about yesterday's chapter (about nomads). 9yo ds and 6yo dd both did a lesson in their CLE Math books.

We went to the YMCA from 10-11:30. The kids did arts and crafts and went to the playground.

Stopped home for lunch.

From 1-3pm, we went to the mall. The kids played board games at the comic store, rode the carousel and got samples from the chocolate store.

Now we're at home watching "You Are What You Eat" on the BBC (I'm going to write it in as Health.)
