Being Single through post-partum... - Page 2

I was really horrified by the idea at first...but I'm going to highly recommend that you drink smoothies made with berries, full fat yogurt, and a chunk of placenta 2-3 times a day for the first several days. I think I felt better in the week after my birth than I do now. I should go find some placenta

With my older two I was alone with a 2 year old and a newborn and a partner who was never around and was not helpful. My 2 year old was in a new running phase... I got a "leash" and lived on microwave food for a while making love my top priority. It was hard but fine. Now I'm going to have a 19 month old and a newborn and a dh who works all. the. time. and I plan on decluttering and organizing to the point that the older kids can keep the house afloat and stocking up on healthier frozen food and cuddling with my babies. I'm really happy for you and I think it's going be a beautiful life affirming experience for you to have the freedom and the beautiful babies.

You know that expression, "one day at a time"?

Forget it. It's "one minute at a time". Don't plan too much ahead of time or you'll go insane. Just do enough to get what needs done, done, and leave the rest.
