Any tips for a video interview??

After a considerably long job search, I have now three job offers to consider and two more interviews coming up.

The interview I'm doing tomorrow will take place over Skype. I have never done a video interview before and despise webcams.

Any tips for making this go as smoothly as possible?

I did one a few years ago. It was strange and I did poorly. I suggest preparing for strange, long pauses. The equipment that I was using had a 5-9 second lag between when they spoke, when I heard them; and when I spoke and when they heard me. So it was unsettling seeing them talk, and then hearing it, and then responding, and then watching them hear what I was saying after I said it.

My suggestion is to try your best to ignore the technology and just pretend it is a normal interview. The reason I did so bad was because I kept thinking about the technology and it was hard to concentrate on the interview.

good luck!

Make sure that the bottom half of your body is dressed up, too. I know you were going to anyway, but it seems like it is a common mistake phone interviewers make because sometimes video conference interviews have the candidate get up and demonstrate something.
