Choosing a ring sling for newborn stage

Last time round I knew nothing about babywearing and bought a padded ring sling when DS was about 12 wks old. We both loved it!
Switched to an ERGO at 5-6 months. Loved it too.

I'm now 36 wks and want to wear this babe from the start. I have to say that it took me a week to get comfortable using the rs and I'm totally uncoordinated which is why I'm leaning toward a rs again. I'm 50lbs lighter though so the old one doesn't fit.

Sakura Bloom look beautiful but they are more than twice the price of Maya Wrap slings. I'm in the UK so have slightly fewer options than you Mamas in NA.

Any advice? Likes/dislikes?

Mine was made for me by a friend, but I've heard wonderful things about Sleeping Baby Productions.

I just tried a Sleeping Baby ring sling today and it was great! Even with my heavy 2.5yo!

Don't have a company rec, but I prefer an unpadded sling with a gathered shoulder. I made mine and if you sew at all it is insanely easy. The rings came from Slingrings.

Oh and I would LOVE a Sakura Bloom! So pretty. I'm hoping some people get together and surprise me with one next baby. If not I may splurge.
