Henna and No-Poo - is there any point?

I've been no-pooing with twice-weekly BS and ACV washes and rinses, and I see that the BS really strips out the temporary hair color I had in to cover gray. Which is fine, I'm trying to go more natural in every way. BUT, I would like to cover the gray, or at least blend it in more to my dark hair, so I've been checking out henna.
My question: will the BS-ACV regimen strip the henna out in the same way? Should I even bother? If henna won't work, does anyone have any other suggestions for natural ways to cover gray?
TIA!

I think I remember reading somewhere that BS could cause the henna color to fade... but honestly, I'm not sure I see how... the way I understand it is that henna is permenant b/c whatever it is that creates the dye (I think its called LAwsone or something... it's been a while since I researched it) anyway the particles actually bond with the hair and become part of the hair shaft... so I think that it would take something pretty major to get the color out.

also, there are other ways to go no-poo if you're really concerned about it. I did conditioner only washes every 3-4 days for about a year or so when I was no-pooing...

Henna - real, pure, body-art quality henna - is EXTREMELY permanent. Scary permanent. I used BS/ACV washes for about a year while hennaing and never noticed any fading. Usually people just do root touchups once they reach their desired shade, but you could do occasional full-head applications if you noticed any fading - no big deal. I really doubt you'd need to, though.

Strand test first!
