Need help FAST!!! Insomnia, natural sleep aids while BFing?

I'm BFing my 15 month old son regularly still.. a few times through the night, first thing in the morning, at nap time and a couple times through the day.. so still quite a bit..

I started zoloft 3 weeks ago and last week I started feeling a lot happier but I have had insomnia for the last week. I can't sleep at all.. I finally fall asleep after the sun comes up and then sleep for a couple hours and have to get up again. This has to change.

I am desperate and I need to get something today that will help me fall asleep tonight. My options are valerian root, melatonin, or a glass of wine before bed.. whichever would be the safest and best choice... Someone please help me. Or something else if I've missed it...

We do co-sleep.. so I would want something that doesn't make me completely unresponsive to him if he wakes up.

I just saw a commercial the other day for Nature Made...they make a natural sleep aid! I hope that helps! No fun having insomnia!

not sure this is compatible with zoloft...I used skullcap tincture..needs to be taken 1 hr before bed...also calms magnesium powder, and melatonin, check with doc pr naturopath before mixing with meds..

You might look into Calms Forte (Hylands Homeopathic). I also use CALM magnesium powder--the lemon flavor is best!
