hello,

i have been more of a lurker here, but i love seeing the pictures others have shared of their hb. ours aren't professional, just taken by my bff since 6th grade. we were only in the tub for 35 minutes, and as the midwives were walking through the door, i started feeling the urge to push. it went really fast and really well, better than i ever imagined. we called the midwife at 4:14pm and dd2 was born at 5:42pm! dd1 was an induced hospital birth, near "emergency" cs, 28 hr labor.

hope others can get some positive hb vibes from our great experience!

Wow. Those are great. I am planning a HB in October. I wanna look half a good as you do. Your family is beautiful. Any yes, the positive vibes are great. It is nice to "see" it in a beautiful, normal, happy, positive image. Visuals make it a little more real.

it was great to have our 5 yo (as of 5/25) there - but we did a bit to get her prepared. we watched videos, looked at pics, books. she was at all our midwife visits, helping measure my belly, listen to the baby. we also made sure we had a plan in case it got to be too much for her. she really just thought it was the "normal" way to do it, saw her baby sister born, and went out to swing!

i lovelovelove that pic of her looking on as the baby's head comes out - it makes me feel so proud of all 3 of us and our womenly power!
