When does undigested food become a symptom?

Ds is 11 mos. Almost all of his poops have bits of undigested food, but only rarely does it look like how it went in. He usually has been skins in his poo, but not the rest of the bean, kwim?

At what age could undigested food like this become a symptom?

I'm on an ED to try to figure out his rash/eczema trigger. The food in his poo has stayed pretty consistant, though.

Oh, one thing- when he was eating puffed rice, it would occasionally come out whole. That seemed strange to me as they are sooo easily dissolvable.

Bean skins and grapes _seem_ to stick around a long time, I think older than 11 mos. It was older than that with both my kids, and while neither probably has perfect digestion, neither's really bad. I don't know the age cut-off though... I'd probably re-evaluate halfway between 1 and 2.
