anyone else ever get pg after day 30 in cycle?

i have a surprise pg on my hands, and even more so now that i'm getting more info! i'm 14 mo pp with my second, and have used the creighton method for pregnancy prevention for years. i spaced my first 2 dc 3.5 years apart using cervical fluid checks only. so my first cycle pp began march 20 with af. i had fertile mucous from day 10-15 and abstained without barrier until day 23 for unrelated reasons (we were moving. too darn tired.) we did use a condom one time on day 17 (not our usual m.o., but very occasional, when we're in doubt). i went almost a month past my missed period (have always had regular 30-day cycles) and took a pg test just to be sure before calling my ob/gyn for a checkup. the test was positive. so, i assumed that the condom malfunctioned on day 17, or i had a freak ovulation with no fluid signs on day 23. my due date was around the 23rd, i believe. i'm having a hb, but seeing an ob for testing and whatnot, and had an early ultrasound yesterday to confirm, since i felt that i wasn't sure about dates. i thought i was 11 weeks 2 days, but the baby is measuring only 7 weeks 5 days. which means i would have ovulated around day 35. baby looks great--arm buds, yolk sack, heartbeat. just a few weeks smaller than expected. i was shocked, and now even more surprised that i'm pg, especially b/c my mucous was so clearly fertile earlier in my cycle.

is this a very uncommon occurence? from what i've read, late ovulation is uncommon and pregnancy then is even more so. just wondering how odd this situation is? apparently this baby really wants to be here!

I can't comment on your fertility signs, Im not that good with them, but I just wanted to say that DS was conceived on CD 33. So at least that part is possible...

If you search through fertilityfriend.com, you'll see a LOT of women that ovulate late (CD 16-51 for pregnant and 70 for non-pregnant--no kidding!) and become pregnant, so definitely possible. There may be other women that Oved later, but I just did a quick search. Here's the one that Oved CD 51...http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ChartGallery/119715.html

Over the last few cycles, my EWCM has stopped gushing out of me and comes in spurts a few times a day, with creamy in between. Sometimes, I need to go in after it and still don't get much of a sample. With the little one I just m/ced, I thought I was no longer fertile, since I didn't see any wet or EW CM, but I got pregnant. So...

Oh, and recently, I read that many women will ovulate twice in one cycle and had + OPKs and two thermal shifts to prove it. Another lady also Oved twice in one cycle and verified it with hormone tests. So, it's controversial, but I believe it happens. Something else to think about.

I got a + pregnancy test on day 66 of my cycle...I was probably no more than 14 dpo by the dating ultrasound we got, and I had - tests before then.

My cycles were all screwed up when I was ttc ds 8 years ago - and I ovulated on cd63 - so that is very possible. That cd63 ovulation is now a healthy, happy 7, going on 8 year old.

I would believe it even more with a first cycle PP. After my second DS, my cycles were suuuper long to start with (though I've heard of longer). Though, I'm pretty sure they were anovulatory for about 6 months. Anyway, I pretty much think *anything* can happen when you're just starting to cycle PP!

Currently pregnant on a cycle where I O'd on day 26. Not quite day 30, but given my cycles, it was definitely possible.

I can't speak to your fertility signs, but I got pregnant with DS1 on CD33. I knew exactly when because I was charting. He was healthy and born exactly 40+0.
