Look what I made!!!! (please someone check this link)

I can't believe I finished this and it turned out so well. It is the Amy Butler nappy bag pattern. And I even modified it a bit (made the cell phone pocket bigger and curved the bottom corners and changed some inside pockets) and it turned out great!

Congratulations ahead of time.. i hear the butler bags require some heavy duty skills - and patience! was it as hard as i hear???

Nope- wasn't hard, just time consuming. I didn't use canvas on the inner layer though (interfacing instead) b/c I wanted it to be a lighter weight bag. I can imagine that if I had used canvas it could have been really tricky, just due to the added bulk. Not sure if I'll make it again! It would have to be a REALLY close friend to do that much work for a baby gift. And it takes a ton of fabric, so is not cheap to make.

Very very cute -- I love the pattern, and the little outside pocket looks great! Great orange liner too -- very nice!!
