They all seem to have different dosages, different brands, different formulations. Are you looking for something specific?

I want to take a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement, but wondered if they contain good enough amounts of the B vitamins, if not would it be safe to take a b complex one aswell as a multi-vitamin?
Also, if anyone knows, is it better to take a seperate multi-vitamin and mineral...or one that has vitamins AND minerals in it together?
I've noticed a lot of people take minerals or vitamins individually instead of all in one pill. I guess because you can take them in higher doses that way, but then you have extra intake of all the extra ingredients to make the pills, and you're swallowing a lot more. So I'm thinking just take a multi-vitamin and mineral in one would be good?

Persoanlly I take a multi AND a b-complex. B-vitamins are water soluble so there is less worry about overdosing. Toxicity for water soluble vitamins usually only occurs at prolonged VER high doses. The RDA's for most vitamins IMO are ridiculously low. I mean the RDA for Vit C is about 125mg for adults....seriously?? I take about 2,000mg daily and upwards of 15,000 - 20,000 when ill.
I also take certain minerals in top of my multi w/minerals. It depends on what health benefit I'm trying to achieve. The amounts of vitamins and minerals in most multis are really geared towards preventing acute disease states like rickets (vit c), but not take into consideration optimal intake for prevention of chronic disease
