Another tetanus question.

My son tripped over a rose bush at my aunt's house. I quickly looked over the scrapes and didn't notice anything, she didn't have any peroxide but he was wanting bandaids (because to a 4yo they are the miracle cure) so my aunt covered every single cut with a bandaid. Fast forward 2 days later when I took the band-aids off and a notice a nasty thorn stuck in his leg. I'm trying not to freak out. I removed the thorn and sprayed with peroxide. What are the chances of tetanus from a thorn? Anything else I should do?

Does it look red or infected?

Did it bleed at all? I wouldn't worry about it really. A thorn would not produce a deep puncture at all. I would just keep it clean, and not cover it. Let it breath. I know I would freak out too though, so hugs. I'm sure it will be fine!!!!
