I've been out of the cloth diapering circuit for quite some time now. I used cloth with my third child until he was 2 (he's now 4) and right after he turned 2, I had my fourth child. I bought a stash of newborn sized fitteds for the new baby (mainly Mutts and bellabottoms bamboo NB fitteds)....I tried to use cloth with the new baby but he hated them. He screamed everytime I put them on him....I tried some of the smaller different dipes that I had used on my other child thinking maybe it was just fitteds he didn't like but I got the same result so I gave up and went to sposies....and changed my then 2 year old to pull ups. I got rid of pretty much my entire stash of diapers other than the brand new newborn fitteds I had bought and never used....I couldn't part with them for some reason....right now, the only thing I have would be those nb fitteds and I think I still have 2 medium long Green Acre Designs fleece pocket dipes. I'm thinking of starting to try cloth again now that my youngest is 2. He shows no signs of PTing right now and I'd like to try it with my 4 year old again too, although he only wears a pull up at night. Kind of tired of buying sposies honestly and I loved cloth so much when I did it before. Anyway....I was thinking of investing in some OS pocket dipes. I think those would be easy and I could use them with both my 4 year old and my 2 year old. (we have been trying for 16 months to get pg with #5 so I'm hoping to be able to use cloth with that baby too)....what would you recommend? I suppose it doesn't have to be a OS dipe....but it would be nice if I wouldn't have to end up buying multiple sizes....I've seen some diapers where they say they grow well with your child and you only end up needing 2 different sizes....I would be open to that too. I tried FB sized pocket dipes with my son previously and they seemed to leak around his leg area....I really liked Bum Genius OS pocket dipes other than the suedecloth....I hated the feel of that and it gave him a horrible rash too....I wish I would have held onto the BG's that I bought that had the fleece inners because I can't find the new style with a fleece inner now. I think those were just a special edition they had for a limited time anyway. GAD pocket dipes were nice too although those are not OS but they always fit my son for quite some time.
My 4 year old is about 35-36lbs and wears a 4T and my 2 year old is about 32lbs and wears a 2-3T in most things.
