Wool covers at night?

Hi all,
So, we are brand new to cloth diapers, brand new to the whole thing, really, with #1 due in August. We've bought a bunch of diapers and H wants to do wool covers at night "because they breathe". Huh? This would be the cover over the fitted or pre-fold, right? We got both for nb size to see what we like and then got AIOs for bigger size. When we get to the bigger size dipes, do we still use the wool covers over the AIOs at night? We got BG 3.0s.. so those would go without another cover, right?

*sigh* I thought I had figured it out... but now I'm second-guessing myself.

Its good to use a breathable cover at night (like wool) because that way all that moisture is not sitting on baby's skin for 12 hours giving her a rash. However that being said we did night time changes because newborns poop frequently at night, whereas older babies do not (good to know..eh?). So once you are planning to leave your LO in one diaper for the entire night then a breathable cover is a must IMO, but before that wool covers are still great...just a pain when they get poop on them.

No, you do not need/want to put an additional cover on top of an AIO.

ETA: I see you already have some wool covers, but if you ever want more the Imse Vimse ones rock!
