mixing homeopathis medicines - please help urgent!

My son is miserable with fever. I have hylands c plus cold and hylands flucare 4 kids. His doc also recommended pulsatilla. Can I give him all that together? He is 26 months. Day 1 of 101-103 fever he is achy......

We are nursing & I am giving him lots of fluids.

Also, I took a dose of pulsatilla b/c he wouldn't and I was A.) feeling a little ill myself, B.) hoping it would go through the milk...then I read it might dry my milk up. Eeep.

What to do? We have only medicated for a fever once and now I heard that the liquid tylenol we bought might be contaminated so I don't want to give it to him.

My DH is out of town until Sat and I am a worrier....Help.

As far as I know, yes. Technically the content of active ingredients in homeopathics is so low that there may not actually even be a single molecule of it in the dilution. There are no side effects.

But really... call his doc and ask. That's what you're paying him for.

It wouldn't hurt him, no. I just wouldn't give that many combinations. One thing about homeopathy is finding the right remedy. I would try one at a time. If a remedy doesn't work within 24 hrs then it isn't the right one. I would attempt one at a time. Try the pulsatilla and if you don't see results try the next. With fever i would choose Belladona or Aconite.

for fevers, constitutional hydrotherapy works wonders. it's safe and you can do it two or three times a day..just make sure that baby is hydrated. and if baby won't tolerate being covered with a wool blanket, you could do the warming socks hydrotherapy.. it is just as effective.

Give the pulsatilla, keep nursing and call the doctor if you need to get confirmation. Doctors who take on small patients have to be prepared for lots of phone calls with anxious parents. The baby will gte better soon enough.
