So I've slowly but surely been dealing with problem areas (the entire house, basically 
) for the last several months. I cannot tell you how many times I've organized and reorganized and rearranged and cleaned my son's art desk. It NEVER lasts. EVER.
It's very frustrating to me because: 1-It's in a main area because we don't have space for it anywhere else. 2-He is so creative but once it's cluttered he doesn't use it effectively or at all. 3-Thought it's in a main area, it's not exactly a spot we can be on top of all the time.
Anyhow, so usually, by about a week after I've cleaned it, it looks like this.

I dug my heels in today and made it (I hope) completely foolproof!

I'm so pleased with it! I got rid of TONS of junk and trash from it. I added the little wooden dresser for storage space. I wanted to repaint it first but I just could not stand the art area another day. I've labelled every drawer with every. single. thing that goes in the drawer so there's never any excuse!
I just had to share my little triumph for the day!
