should i still have stitches?

my baby is 4 weeks and 2 days old and i still have some stitches down there. i figured i was just feeling still a teeny bit sore. but it's actually the stitches down there. shouldn't they have dissolved by now?
i can make an appt w/my ob, i haven't because we were supposed to be moving before i hit 6 weeks so i decided i didn't need the visit.

After I had L, I had stitches for a long long time, don't remember exactly how long because she's 11 now, but it was long and they hurt. I'd say you definitely DO need the check up mama (should be included in what you already paid) just so you can be reassured and get peace of mind.

At my six week appt two weeks ago I still had mine

thanks girls dell do you still have yours now??
i went in today. she said there was very little left and it would come out on its own. i did have her clip the knot out as it was visible and bothering me a tiny bit. she said the rest would come out within the week.
