Early last week I woke up with a sore throat and by bedtime I thought I was going to die. Raging fever (104), massive migraine, achy bones, painful skin, just felt awful. The next day I went to the dr and I had a systemic strep infection, not just strep in my throat but an infection in my blood as well. I had several days of antibiotic shots, an antibiotic IV and 6 days of antiobiotic pills. I finished the pills yesterday and woke up this morning with another sore throat. Tonight I've got a fever and feel achy. I called the dr and am back on antibiotics. The dr sent my blood in to see if I was going septic again.
Why is this happening to me? I am on some supplements but not a huge amount. Of course I've upped my Vit C and probiotics but what else can I do?
