Help! History timelines?

I am trying to find a simple printable timeline that spans ancient history through the early colonies, but, am having a hard time doing so.
Does anyone have a site to recommend?

Also...I want to begin this year with the explorers of the world and am looking for material for them as well. I have some good books, but, am looking to make it fun too.

I don't know about the timeline but I have a nice book called "The Picture History of Great Explorers" by Gillian Clements.
