Hi everyone! Our sweet little babe, James Barry, was born a week ago tonight. Another home birth. Early labor lasted 12 hours, then I pushed for an hour and a half. Oh, my, I forgot how much that hurts! But we are so, so grateful for a wonderful homebirth and happy healthy boy. Also so thankful that dd, 4, got to watch and cut the cord.
We are grateful people these days!
He was born last Thursday, June 3rd, at 10:17pm.
8 lb 2 oz, 20"
The midwife and pediatrician have both proclaimed him "perfect". We've had a lot of help. So, though I am sore, it's all good.
My heart is full of gratitude.
