DS has horribly foul smelling gas

We had an extra fussy period this morning from around 4:45 til 6 and then he went back to sleep. I thought we'd had most of this figured out but obviously not.
Like I said, he went back to sleep around 6 but since then has had the most foul smelling gas ever. Have any of you ever noticed your lo's gas turning super foul with an offeding food? Are there some foods that are more gas producing than others, in your experience?
He's ebf and a little bone broth for "dinner". The broth hasn't been an issue to this point and he's been eating that for a few weeks.

TIA

Yes, foods like beans have sugars which are indigestible to all humans and that is why they are known for "making you toot"!

Or any food which causes inflammation can lead to reduced enzyme production by the intestines and not being able to digest foods properly and lead to gas. Humans also do not produce cellulase, to digest the fiber and skins of vegetables so a lot of this fiber can cause gas.

Lactose is most common in adults but not usually in babes.

A virus can cause intestinal flora imbalance for a time.

Onions in the broth?

He's never had this gas before and he's been eating the broth for a few weeks now. I discovered that I ate a tortilla that was laced with soy. We're thinking it's the culprit.

eta: The gas is gone today and ds has had the same broth over the past 48 hours. Irritability is also gone and he slept great last night and napped great today.
