My first birth was an urgent c-section due to low platelet count and high blood pressure. I labored naturally for a very long time before the situation became urgent very quickly. My pregnancy was picture perfect, FWIW. My recovery from the c-section went wonderfully and I had no problems whatsoever.
I am planning on having a VBAC for #2, due in January. My local low-risk clinic and hospital (where I was seen my last pregnancy, minus the delivery) has a no-VBAC policy. However, the high-risk hospital (where I delivered DS) does. I have my first prenatal appointment in a few weeks and I have no idea what kind of questions I should be asking!
I look forward to learning more from everyone as the months go by!
