Twilight finale split into two movies

I really don't think it is to charge the moviegoers more. Breaking Dawn just has too many details that would have to be eliminated if the book were to be filmed in to 1 movie. Or they'd have to make a 4 hour movie. The movie makers know there are just too many Twilight fans who would be upset it the story were watered down too much.
I wish they would have taken more care with teh LIghting Thief movie

I agree with this. I was hoping they would make it into two movies.

I've been through the LOTRs and the HPs and would much rather they break the movies up, do the best job they can to get the story right...

They will probably be released at least 6 months apart, possibly a year apart, so plenty of time to save up for movie nights.

where do you guys think the story will cut off during the first Breaking Dawn film? I'm glad it's going to be 2 movies, too. I'll go see them, buy all the soundtracks and scores and get the dvds when they are released. More is better

I'm glad it's going to be 2 movies too. I can't even imagine them trying to squeeze it all into one. I can see a few different places they could split the story. But it should be somewhere after the birth but before the training for the arrival of the Volturi.

I'd personally rather see the split not directly after the birth but just after they are spotted by Irina

I like this idea too but I bet that their going to up the suspense factor by doing it right after the birth.

Wow, I really thought the pregnancy was way too drawn out in the book. Now, with it being two movies, I don't know. . . anyways, I would rather it be one movie. But, if it will be two, I would also stop when Irina spots them. There is enough suspense with what she will do, etc. to keep viewers interested.
