How much carlson's fish oil for a toddler?

Or should I have gotten one of those 'fish oil' for kids' products? I figured everyone in the house could use the carlson's lemon fish oil and I wouldn't have to buy several different products when I can just adjust the dosage.
Any advice?

I give my dd about 1/4 of whatever I give myself because she weighs about 1/4 of what I do! I would think 1/4 t would be fine!

Randall Neustaedter (an oriental medicine doc) recs 1/4 tsp cod liver oil per 12 lbs. of body weight for "infants." For children 3 yrs and older, 1 tsp clo per 50 lbs of body weight. This is from his Child Health Guide book (2005). We use the clo so DH and I can take it too. We don't give every day, especially now that it's summer. Just FYI, Mercola's website recently went on a tirade about not giving cod liver oil b/c of vitamin A it contains. I haven't done more research on the topic, but just continue to use a variety of fatty acids. Hope this helps!
