Questions About Boobs When Weaning

We've recently gone from DS nursing 3-4 times a day to nursing just 2 times a day to nursing just 1 time a day. The nursing 1 time a day started about a week after we dropped to just 2 times a day. My questions:

Last night, while trying to get DS back to sleep in the middle of the night (not a nursing time), I realized that one of my breasts was leaking. This would've been about 20 hours or so after he had last nursed (and a few hours before he would nurse again). Is it normal to start leaking during the weaning process? How long can I expect this to go on? (I was really enjoying finally NOT wearing a bra and nursing pads to bed).

Also, boob size. I'm really not sure if my boobs have been that much bigger these past 2 years than they were before I was pregnant, but I'm wondering if not-nursing-at-all boobs are smaller than only-nursing-a-couple-times-a-day boobs. Is this a bad time to go bra shopping cuz my size is gonna change? (I don't have big boobs, btw...my nursing bras from Target have been 36C).

I've heard you shrink more after totally weaning. You might want to wait a bit before buying new bras. And I think it's normal to leak.

yeah, you'll definitely shrink more if you are still leaking, especially.

After totally weaning dd1, my breasts were "smaller". In my case it wasn't so much that they were smaller, but they were less full. Like they laid against my body more, droopy kinda. Sorry, that might not be what yout want to hear, but thats how it was for me with the first one. Either way, I would wait to buy bras until you are fully weaned for 2 or 3 weeks.

And yes you can still leaking during weaning, even if you don't feel engorged or anything. If you want to dry up faster, drink sage tea. But this will dry up the milk so maybe wait until you are fully weaned.
