really greasy milk during weaning...???

My l.o. (2yrs, 10 months) is definitely on the path to weaning He has been for about 3 weeks now - he is only nursing every few days, just before bed, and usually only for a few minutes - and usually only when I ask if he wants to - so, this seems like tmi, but here goes: last week I still had quite a bit of milk, but today, when I checked after he nursed, just a tad came out - and when I felt it it was GREASY - like, oil or something - really, it was that greasy! It seemed strange - it is still white, but is obviously thick and didn't drip... is this normal? I have been googling but am not coming up w/ anything, and I've never heard or read about this.... I'd appreciate any information - thanks.

I had that too when I weaned my dd. It was so greasy it left stains on my shirts

I had that even a good 6 months after weaning DS! I don't know what it is, but it was kind of gross in that mine didn't even look like milk.
