Mixing meat types for broth?

Would this be horrible?

I know a proper epicurian would never do it but I'm just looking for "edible to Joe Blow" kind of answer.

I have in my freezer bones and fat from: 2 lamb shanks, quite a few pork chops, and a couple bovine steaks. I am afraid I might have lost track of which is which (um, because I, uh, put them all in the same bag? d'oh).

Is it going to be disgusting if I just make broth out of it all?

Hmmm. I think it would probably be OK. What are you going to use it in? You'll have to use your nose and taste buds to adjust spicing at the end. Might work in a barley soup or something like that. What's to lose?

I'd do it. I've definitely done combos of beef & chicken or lamb and chicken. It always tastes good!

I was just going to use it in some random soup or stew. Nothing specific like french onion or anything. Thanks for the green light! I'll see how it goes. Just didn't want to waste it if folks knew that it was just going to be inedible.
