Weight-Loss on Domperidone.

Has anyone lost it? Any inspirational stories or how-tos? I am unable to shed a pound inspite of a lighter diet and some light exercise. Since I am still bfing I don't want to step up either my diet or exercise but usually I see results with these and now I am not

I think weight retention is literally the biggest side effect of DPD. I'm about to go on it myself-- I make a 3/4 supply for my girl without it, so my hope is that I can make a full supply with it! I'm steeling myself for the inevitable. At least I lost all my pregnancy weight in the first month!

Hmmm, not until I stopped taking it, and even then with support. It definitely affected my thyroid. Totally worth it, but it did. Sorry I don't have a better answer. But, many people gain on it, so if you're issue is losing maybe that's a silver lining? It would be hard to see it that way if it were me...but I thought I'd throw it out there!

I gained 5-10 lbs on it and it hasn't come off. My boys weaned a few months ago and I started running. Still weigh the same. Wish I had better ideas!

You may want to look at thyroid support to address those final pounds. Dom really does a number on the endocrine system-this is clinically proven. Fortunately my adrenals weren't too bad. However my thyroid and pituitary did require some loving care.

totally with you! I weigh the same as I did the week before I gave birth. I'm going off domperidone this week, so I'll let you know how it goes!
