Don't know where to really post this.

Has anyone lost some weight on dpd? Any inspirational stories or how-tos? I am unable to shed a pound inspite of a lighter diet and some light exercise. Since I am still bfing I don't want to step up either my diet or exercise but usually I see results with these and now I am not

Sorry to not be of much help but I have not had any issues with not being able to lose weight while on Dom. Hae you had your thyroid checked? Low (hypo) thyroid is quite common in post-partum women. I was just diagnosed 6 months out. This can lead to low milk supply as well as an inability to lose weight. Just thought I'd throw that suggestion out there. Best of luck.

Domperidone is pretty well-known for causing weight GAIN while taking- since it acts on the stomach and helps digestion, keeps food in the tract longer or something? There's so many threads here about weight gain on dom, and I was a weight gainer on dom too. Ugh, it was so annoying because on top of the nursing struggles, I was so active and should have been losing or at least maintaining! Sorry that it seems to be happening to you too! Also, my midwife did tell me that it seems like there are two types of nursing moms: those that lose all their weight quickly, and those that hold onto all their baby weight until they are done nursing, then it drops off quickly.

I agree with bedhead. I've gained weight on dom. Not a lot, but enough to notice and feel annoyed!
