I am such a moron!

DD (16mo) ran over to me yesterday saying "Bu BEE! Bu BEE!" and hanging on my leg. She has been saying "Bye bye" a lot lately, so, like an idiot, I stood there waving bye bye at her, thinking I was playing along.

Then she got upset. I checked her and she had just barely peed, so I changed her.

About 45min later, she is sitting naked at the table and starts grabbing her crotch going "Bu BEE! Bu BEE!"

She is saying PEE PEE!

She is naked (and not missing) most of the time now. She has been saying poop for a few weeks, usually grabbing a book and heading for the bathroom. I haven't had a poop miss in months. Is she graduating? I really didn't expect it this soon, and I expected the pre-grad pause to be some long, frustrating, drawn-out thing. Maybe I shouldn't say anything yet, but I am secretly celebrating our success lately.

maybe getting close to graduating. i wouldn't put too much emotional stock in it, but it seems like she has the idea.

DS is sometimes very on (Poop! and points at the bathroom; Pee! and points at the bathroom), and sometimes very off. no signal, nuffin. i notice when it's time to take him or if i smell it. LOL

so, he'll go for days with beautiful signaling, and i start to think he's graduating. then he goes back to no signal. LOL

i had to learn to be nonattached.

How exciting!!!!! It could be a sign of upcoming grad-hood, or it could just be one more exciting place on the EC journey! You'll know in about six months to a year!
