Breech Tilt question

Thread Starter
I've got breech twins. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. Over the last couple of months I've done Chiropractor w/ Webster, inversion off the couch, crawling on hands and knees, light swimming w/ a kick board, and ice pack at top of belly.

I started doing Breech Tilt a couple of days ago instead of the inversion. I listen to my "Twin hypnobabies" session while I do it (it has you relax and visualize babies head down.) My question is after the 20 minutes of the breech tilt, should I do anything immediately after that? Walk on hands/knees, walk upright, cat/cow yoga exercise?

Today for the first time while I did the breech tilt, I also held a maglight at the bottom of my belly. I did notice the second I put the light on, Baby A immediately started kicking like crazy, so I will continue that.

My OB has scheduled a c/s for 37 weeks, but I'm going to tell him unless medically necessary, I want to wait until 38 weeks.

At this point I don't want to throw any more money at it, but I'm willing to try any free at home methods. But basically my question is should I do anything specific immediately after the breech tilt. I couldn't really find an answer from spinningbabies.com

Thanks!

maybe ask this question in the parenting multiples thread as well, since many there have probably been there dont that!

good luck, sounds like you are working hard!

(you incidentally answered another question i had about if hypnobabies had twin sessions, cool to know)

A little OT, but I know someone who had luck with putting a vibrator on the top of her bump ...baby didn't like it, and flipped head-down.

for you!

I know said you didn't want to throw any more $$ at it, but I'd recommend going to a store that sells some chinese medicinal herbs and picking up a couple of sticks of moxa for less than $3. Burn those when you tilt next to your pinky toes(you'll obviously need help). I did this and got a singleton to turn.

BUT, as far as what you do after, I tried to stay on hands and knees in some form(sometimes just leaning on my fitness ball from my knees) for about 10 minutes and then sitting on the fitness ball for a bit.

GOOD LUCK!

I wanted to share (sorry I have no advice on your actual question) but this baby was breech at 37 weeks and measuring big so my OB was pretty sure that there would be no flipping. I went in for my Pre-op the next week and she gave me a quick u/s to check position and the baby was (is) head down and has stayed that way (and gotten bigger, lol). The only thing I did to get him or her to flip was hand stands in a pool.
