do you consume raw milk and dairy during pregnancy?

Why or why not?

I didn't have access to raw milk and cheese during my other pregnancies so I hadn't thought much of it. I usually listen to my body as to what I do and don't need during pregnancy and not the "experts".

I just wanted to know what you do/have done and why. thanks!

I know you found another link, but I wanted to respond here anyway. I am 27 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and have been drinking raw milk since around 15 weeks or so. We moved to a new area a few months ago where we have access to a wonderful dairy farmer. It took me a while, and a lot of research to feel comfortable with it. I feel so much better giving my body, my unborn baby, my 2 year old son, and my husband, a living food instead of pasteurized nothingness. I've had no problems from the milk, and no complications with my pregnancy.

My still nursing DS can't handle pasteurized dairy so my choices are Raw Milk or Soy Milk....

I choose raw each time!

I am pg 23 weeks. And, I have been drinking raw milk since the 4th month. The only reason I had to wait is because the farm I get my milk from wasn't delivering until April.

I can't drink "reg" milk and I won't drink soy. Raw milk from a good source is far superior in nutrients as we all know.

I always consume raw foods during pregnancy - milk, cheese, meat, eggs, etc.

I know you found your answer, but I wanted to add that for my next pregnancy, I will most certainly consume raw milk products (I like kefir), but I will not drink as much milk because of the carbs. I gained a good bit of weight and won't drink glass after glass like I did with my first pregnancy...but oh, is it good stuff!! The kefir will be excellent for keeping yeasties at bay, I hope.
