Stain in Skirt

Hi everyone!
Just bought a new Old Navy stretchy jersey skirt. [URL="http://http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=55402&vid=1&pid=730581&scid=7305810 42"]
It was a great deal and so comfy, I was excited to wear it all summer. However, first I spilled a little oil salad dressing on the front. I tried stain remover and soaking it- didn't work. I thought I would just turn it around and wear that part in the back. NOW there are two similar grease type spots in the front. Soaking, stain remover, nothing worked! What happened? Karma? Or is the stain remover (Shout) actually staining the jersey material? Any ideas how to get the spots out or should I give up?

Try dishwashing liquid, like Dawn. Soak it in that and then launder as usual.

Yep, I too was going to recommend pre-treatment with Dawn dish soap as well.

I use Dr. Bronners to get out any oil based stains. Just rub it in and toss it in the wash (don't wash in cold).

You have to be careful with stain treaters like Shout - many of them contain bleach and will permanently destroy your garment. I used it on a brand new t-shirt that I had dribbled on, that brand new shirt became only good for wearing around the house with a giant bleach spot between the breasts. And to this day, years later, the shirt still stinks from the chemical burn.
