I think this 2.5 year journey is ended

I think my DS is weaned. It's been over a week now since he's asked for milk.
Our first nursing session was on 10/20/07 and our last was 6/5/10. When We started out I had no preconceived idea of how long I wanted to nurse, though I would have been surprised to think I would do it for this long. I'm glad we did though.
I am also glad to be done for a few months before our next little one arrives in December.
For those of you doubting yourself about nursing a toddler, don't. It's a wonderful thing.

Yes you are an amazing mama!! Lots of hugs to you . When my kiddos each stopped nursing a made a scrap book filled with tons of pictures so we could treasure all those special moments we had.

This is one big regret I have-I have only one picture of us nursing, when he was about 6 months. I don't know how that happened. It was such a huge part of our life for so long, it's wierd it wasn't documented. I will defintely do better with that with this next baby.
