I am only 8wks post partum & EBF my LO...

What the heck

At first I thought maybe I was bleeding again from the birth, but that cant be. I just saw the Dr last Mon & she said all looks great & completely back to normal. With my first babe I didnt get my period back until I stopped BF completely. The thought crossed my mind a few weeks ago that I may get it back sooner bec this babe will go 4hr stretches without eating.

Wow. I had such a weepy day yeaterday & was having a hard time controlling my temper with my 22mo DS. I guess this explains it.

Could this be related too: My boobs for the past few days seem to not be getting as full - floppy even & I haven't been pumping as much as I have been able to a few days prior. Does getting your period affect milk production?? Anything I need to know about BF & AF?

Also, now that I have AF back will I get it month after month or can it stop again (from BF)?
Oh man. Now I really have to be careful with DH. Two under 2yo is tough. I cant imagine Irish Twins next.

It sucks doesn't it, I got it back at 8 wks with my last 2 babies and I was EBF. With my first child I didn't get it back until 6 months after I weaned. With DS It was intermittent and with DD2 it has been every month.

I also had 2 under 2 and it is crazy. I have always noticed that my supply dips with my period. It is usually some time between ovulation and the start of my period when it happens. I just try to eat healthy, sometimes do oatmeal for breakfast and drink to thirst. Mine come back up usually within a few days.

Got my period at 8 weeks as well. Was hoping for atleast 6 months of AF free, but nope.

I got AF back at 6 weeks PP. But, then not again since and I'm at 13 months PP now. So, there's hope it won't come back to stay!

I was three months PP, I was so mad!! I was hoping it would hold off until at least 6 months. I was also EBF, up until 7 months. Now I am late, hoping just a fluke, my dd is only 9 months, don't want to wean her yet!
