We recognize that attachment parenting is a continuum and not an absolute. Obviously no one can be 100% anything, all of the time. And while discussing where our parenting has fallen short of attachment parenting ideals can be useful within the context of a larger discussion of how we can grow into a more natural living/attachment parenting lifestyle, we don't host threads that brag about these shortcomings just for the sake of celebrating them.
Here on MDC, we seek to create a community where natural family living and attachment parenting are the norm, because that is Mothering's belief and purpose as a magazine and as a community.
