Birth Plans/Preferences: hope for another waterbirth/homebirth
Anything else you'd like to share: We are so happy and thrilled! But...Our family isn't supportive of us, we have not told anyone else and are not sure how we are going to handle telling anyone else. For now, we just know (not even the kids know b/c we don't want family to learn from them). Of course I know so many mamas on here and IRL or on FB from here..so cat may just be outta the bag now

How did family handle the news (you mentioned they weren't very supportive)?

Is it looking like you're going to get your waterbirth? I'm hoping for one, too!

What is your favorite cold-weather activity to do as a family (since you live in snowy New England!)?

My family was pretty neutral about it...don't think it's such shocking news at this point! His family...one side was thrilled and that was nice (even tho the news was broken to them at a HUGE family party w/o dp there! ) His mom's side...meh, I don't know. He told them and that's that.

We had a WB last time and it was one of the best moments of my life, simply amazing! We hope to do one now in our home in the giant bath tub this house has! Very excited that it will be *that* much easier w/ the tub than the blow up pool (but I looooved that pool, donated to the local MW in CT).

Funny...we just moved from New England! We were there 2 years and our WB HB was the day after a huge snow storm, mw couldn't park b/c of the snow and dp had to run out and park her car...her assistant missed the birth b/c of the snow and parking issues!

We moved/drov across country to SW Colorado and have been here almost 2 weeks...LOVE it! Now as for activities in snow, this will be like 30 ft of snow (we are on a mountain living at 9,000+ ft!) so we'll just have to learn to ski and snowboard and embrace winter. Everyone around this ski town is in love w/ it, hoping I'll learn to love it too! (I am a sun worshiper! )

Last date night w/ no kids?! (we conisder it a date night if the babe is left w/ us and the bigger kids are not...or heck, even if 3 are gone it's a date! ) That said, the last one we had, that happened to be the first time we had no kids overnight w/ us, was almost 2 years ago. I was pregnant w/ my 5th..but she was in so we count that as 'alone'. Went to Maine and stayed at a hotel in the mountains at Sunday River. Good time!!

Last book...Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I read the series w/ my 8 year old son (we homeschool) and I LOVE them! We read half of The Order of the Phoenix, but he was bored w/ the teenage love stuff and wanted to stop!

Fave meal...anything Indian. Love saag paneer w/ some rice and naan. Pakoras and samosas... Also love me some mexican food. I'm from S TX and grew up on it, so I'll just always love it.

craving...now I'm craving Indian food! Dp is making veggie sushi w/ the kids now...so that'll have to do! I looooove it too so I'm okay w/ that!
