Couponers I need some help!

I printed a bunch of online coupons yesterday. Well wouldn't you know it. The color printer cartridge is not working right. It's a new cartridge too!

So anyhow, will retailers except black and white IP coupons? I am worried they won't.

Most will, but you get the occasional oddball here and there. Basically it really just depends on the store and cashier. I don't think any store has a particular storewide policy regarding IPs being b&w or color, but lots of stores leave a lot of coupon policy management up to the individual store managers, which can result in inconsistancies from store to store.

I had the opposite problem happen, my black wouldn't print, just my color. I bought a black cartridge from Meijer and my printer wouldn't recognize it. So my UPC codes on the IPs weren't printing right. I ended up having to reprint, which stinks because some only let you print once.

The print manager thingy says the color portion is full. But for some reason we can't get it to work. It was form Office Depot. Hubby is going to take it back this afternoon.

The other thing I noticed is, I have a hard time identifying what the coupon is for. I have to stop and read the dang thing instead of looking at the picture. Pictures are handy when you are trying to shop with three kids in tow.

Just check with customer service or a cashier before you shop with them. That's what we had to do yesterday, when our black and white ink was running out. (Really out...)

I had an Albertson's cashier try to tell me they only take color coupons, but hey, they aren't going to buy me a color printer, so they can deal. Typically, if they scan and you can see the shading and watermarking (and it's not a "free" coupon), you should be good. Although heck, my local little grocery store chain *just* started taking internet coupons after refusing for years.

They are just going to have to work. I printed too many valuable coupons to throw them in recycle.

I have printed them in b&w to save color ink when possible and have not had a problem. Good luck!

I always print them in black and white and haven't had problems.

I used some at Shop N Save today with no problem. She just scanned them and they went right thru.
