Vitamins/nutrition for extended breastfeeding

Hi everyone,

My DD (11 mo) still nurses quite a lot, and I hope that will continue for another year or so at least! The other day I noticed that I was getting sore spots at the corners of my mouth. I started taking B vitamins, which helped right away. This made me wonder if there are vitamins designed for long-term breastfeeding moms. I already take prenatal vitamins in addition to a healthy diet. I would also be interested in books/websites about healthy eating while long-term breastfeeding, if anyone has recommendations!

Thanks,
Sarah

Nina Planck's Real Food for Mom and Baby has info on nutrition supporting breastfeeding moms. I've personally been taking: prenatal, tons of vitamin D, cod liver oil (actually have a D+CLO combined) and cal-mag.
