I am placing my first fabric order but I need help first.
First, I want to make some fitted diapers. I am going to get some rib knit
(patterned) to make a few of them cute but what fabric do you recommend for the absorbent inside? Which is more absorbent; hemp, bamboo, or terry? I was thinking of getting something with a fleece feel so it wouldn't feel so wet but I wasn't sure of absorbency... Also, I want to make a quick dry soaker, but do I make it out of the same material that I make the diaper? Can you make a few layers of different fabrics?
Second, I want to make some wool interlock wraps or soakers (whichever is
easier- I'll probably try both!), do I use anything other than the wool
interlock? I am getting the 95/5 blend, right? Or do I use the blend on just the waist and the cuffs and the 100% interlock on the body of the soaker?
Lastly, how many wraps can I get out of one yard of wool (after washing)?
