Wondering about Essential Oils

Hello! I just got my BFPs on Sunday (the 13th), so I know it's early days yet, but I have a question: on Saturday (the 12th) I ordered some soap from my favorite seller on etsy, and it contains lavender powder, tea tree oil, and rosemary oil. We used it last year, and it helped keep bug bites to a minimum.

However! I read on her listing that rosemary should *not* be used by pregnant women. I'm okay with avoiding it, I'm just wondering if there are any other oils that I need to avoid now that i'm (whoopie!) pregnant.

Thanks!

FWIW, my essential oils book EO Desk Reference--says that there is no actual evidence that EO's have ever been harmful during pregnancy. My MW (who uses them on her clients) requests avoidance only of clary sage, and even then mentioned that one lady used it everyday during her pregnancy with no ill effects.
I don't think the minimal amount in a soap would make a difference.
I'm pregnant right now, and the only one I'm avoiding is clary sage. I do think the quality of the oil is important tho--most EO's are actually diluted or synthetic.
Just my opinion...

For the small amount used in a soap product, I would be ok with it personally.

There is such mixed info out there on EO use in general, let alone in pregnancy. In such a diluted concentration like in a soap, I'd feel fine about using rosemary EO. I've actually used rosemary EO inhalation in all of my pregnancies for headache relief.

Like a previous poster mentioned, clary sage is one that is wise to avoid in pregnancy. It is known to stimulate contractions so it can be helpful in a labor blend but really should be avoided during other times in pregnancy.

Believe it or not, lavender is on some lists of EOs to avoid in pregnancy.

Thanks for the excellent info! I'm a little embarrassed now, I was just on the main site and saw this on the front page!:
