Can your 3yo get out of bed to find you in the middle of the night by him/herself? - Page 2

Mine does. Last night he started out in his bed (his choice, he just went in and fell asleep in there), but this morning he was between DH and I. I don't even remember him joining us.

If ODS wakes up at night, he usually just wails until I come and find him-he's 2 1/2. He gets up to find me in the AM though (sometimes-other times he just plays in his bedroom until I get up).

My 5 and almost 2 year old can come and find us. My 8 year old still calls for us!!

Definitely. We transitioned my now-3.5-year-old out of our room very gradually beginning when she was not-quite-2, and she would come get in bed with us after sleeping the first 4-5 hours of the night in her/her brother's bedroom down the hall. Now, at 3.5, she still migrates to our room many nights.

Yes, several times a night still. I find him smiling up at me saying, "I need neying (nursing)." We have a night light in the hallway since our bathroom is at the top of a steep set of stairs and I wouldn't want anyone to get disoriented in the dark and take a tumble. It was gated until yds started to climb it.

DS turned three in May and it still hasn't occurred to him that he can get out of his bed without me. He climbs up and down to play all day long but once it's nighttime, he stays in. When he wakes in the morning he'll call for me to get him up for the day. I'm hoping that he can learn it's ok to get up himself in the morning.

My 3 year has been getting out of bed and finding since 18 months maybe earlier. "Mommy tuck me in."

I haven't read yet, but yes, our dd does and has for a while.

My ds will be 3 next month, but he has been able to 'find me' for a looong time now - he usually goes to sleep in his bed and ends up in mine later.
