For the third summer in a row, we are happily TV free 
! We do watch some TV during the winter months because.... well, just because 
. But it's so easy to be TV free in the summer! The first week or so, I got a lot of "Mama, can we watch...." but now 3 weeks into our summer break, the kids are self-sufficient, self-motivated, and don't miss it at all. I've even talked DS and DH into watching their beloved World Cup matches on streaming video

Maybe this year we'll be able to keep the TV free momentum strong through the entire year (but I say that every summer too!)
