5th pregnancy, 14wks, no movement??

Ok so I think I'm just having a panic moment. I'm sure there are others out there who haven't felt movement yet too...I guess I just need some reassurance. I've just lost so many babies... So yeah, I'm 14wks along in my 5th pregnancy. SO MANY of the other mamas in my ddc are happily taking about feeling their babies move and have for weeks now. Not me. With my last baby I was feeling her around 13 to 14 wks...I know, I'm only now just there again...like I said I'm think I'm just freaking. I have no idea if my placenta is anterior or not. My midwife appointment last week went really well too. Everyday I just keep wondering if today is the day so I can breathe a bit easier!! So I guess I'm just wanting to know from other mamas out there who are on baby number 2 or more, did it take a bit longer to feel them move? Thank you!!!

I'm having my 5th too, and started feeling movement around 16wks.
I remember feeling the others a little earlier than that, so I was freaking a little too. Now at 20 wks I still feel like I don't feel him/her move "enough". But everythings fine, just had an u/s yestday, and I don't have an anterior placenta or anything.

I don't think I've ever felt movement that early. Maybe around 16 to 17 weeks.

it is totally normal to not feel your baby move at 14 weeks. I never felt my first four until about 20 weeks. I was shocked when I started to feel this one at 16 or 17. I have always thought that 16 weeks is on the early side of "normal" for when people start to feel movement.

Also, some babies are just a lot quieter than others. My MIL always felt movement with my husband, but then when she had his brother, she felt like he barely ever moved. The good news is, he was a very easy baby. Slept very well. If you're finding that you're worrying a lot about your baby, maybe you should get one of those dopplers so that you could listen to the heartbeat whenever you need reassurance.

Thanks mamas. I feel a bit better already. It's just made me very anxious when so many of the other mamas in my ddc have been feeling their little ones since week 9, 10, etc. Whew. Thanks again!

This is my 6th pregnancy and I didn't feel movement until about 18 weeks.

I also thought that placenta location could affect when you feel the baby as well.

I'm on my fifth babe (15 weeks today), and no movement yet. Once or twice I thought *maybe,* but I'm pretty sure its just gas. I wont start stressing for a few weeks yet.

I'm on #5 as well... I've definitely noticed lots more movement in the past few weeks. I'm 19w2d. But I wanted to share that I didn't feel #4 until I was around 22 weeks that was after feeling #3 at 9-10 weeks. Each pregnancy and baby is different.

With #1, I had an anterior placenta and I did not feel movement until 24 weeks! Ack! I was so worried except at the 20 week appt, he was doing flips in there Yeah, the jamba juice probably had something to do with that. Poor thing was on a sugar high!

I am 12 weeks now and I have not felt anything. Honestly, since I did not feel anything until 24 weeks last time, I am not exactly sure what to expect.

Next week is our NT test, so I am excited to finally see the baby and make sure all is good.

I've had moments of panic, too, and am on #4. I'm 17w4d now and feeling more movement, but it's still not consistent. Definitely possible to have an anterior placenta, or simply not as active a baby as prior ones (which would be ok with me! ). I know it's hard when you've felt ones earlier, but from what I gather, it's still perfectly normal.

I'm almost 17 weeks with number 2, and just feeling tiny little movements very occasionally--and still questioning all the time whether they are really baby or not. I felt DS very early for a first baby, at 15 weeks.

I saw this in new posts and wanted to respond. With my 3rd baby I didn't feel her move until around 20 to 22 wks. At the ultra sound we found the placenta to be anterior, (the front of the uterus which ever that is, sorry not familiar with the terms anymore)

All ended up being fine but I never could feel with her what I could with my other pregnancies.

I hope you all the best!

Oh my goodness.....I feel so silly for being so worried now! Thank you all SOOO MUCH for all your input. It makes me feel so much better knowing that this is totally normal and I'm just being silly. I wish you all the very best!
