Hello ladies. I have a job opportunity in Lincoln, Nebraska. The first thing I did was ask my husband to look for midwives - he stays at home with kiddos so has more time 
Sadly, he sent me an e-mail about midwife attended homebirths being illegal!!
After having my 9 month old in my living room with my beautiful, perfect, DEM here in Oklahoma, I can't imagine the thought of my very last birth being in a hospital just because some paid off politician claims to think that is in my best interest, when really it's all about HIS bank account's interest.
Anyway, are there "underground" midwives or women who just seem to have a lot of pregnant friends that they just happen to be around when babies or born or whatever? OH, please, please, please say there are........
