Potty Training and Camping!

Hi,

dd almost 2 (next month) is potty training, and is diaper free during the day, but still has occasional accidents. I don't want to put her in diapers while we go camping (in a few weeks) but at the same time I don't want to have a stash of soiled clothes...

Any tips/ideas would be helpful!

Can you let her be naked or just in undies? As soon as you notice she pees, I would rinse out the undies right away with water and hang them to dry. If you completely dry them out it won't be so bad when you have a stack of dirty undies at the end of the trip. I'd probably burn the poopy ones in the fire if there wasn't a way to clean them completely.

well i assume with a 2 year old no matter what you are going to have a giant pile of dirty clothes, wet, muddy, food covered, covered in ticks and sun screen and bug spray and ashes from the fire etc. So i'd just rinse out any pee/poop clothes and keep them with all the other dirty's you'll have.

also is this wilderness camping or like campground camping?

We often let ds wear a skirt or dress and no underwear, he does really well like that but also isn't totally nude, which has led to more than one shout of "OW THAT (branch, grass, flowerbed etc) hurt my penis!"

A dress with no undies was my first thought!

Lol, thanks for the ideas!! Sometimes I just get 'stuck' in a blocked mindset!!
And yes it's a campsite, not wilderness camping!!

We went camping when DS was in cloth diapers a few times, I just took my big wet bag with me. It was no problem (I but the wet bag in the car at night just in case a bag of stinky diapers would somehow be attractive to an animal)
