What's your favorite?

A few weekends ago, I did:

cheese & crackers
veggies & dip
lamb & chicken souvalki with tzatziki sauce
chopped salad
quinoa salad

I'm having kids & moms over this week, & I'm trying to come up with a menu. So far, I'm thinking:

hot dogs
another grilled meat for the grownups (maybe buttermilk chicken)
green salad
fruit for dessert
need another side...

How about some type of pasta salad? You can jam pack so many veggies into it. If making a large batch for a bbq, I normally mix the tri-color pasta with a box of whole wheat noodles to boost nutrition too. Another one of my favs is tortellini salad with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, garlic, feta and some simple seasonings and oil and vinegar.

Some of our favorites are:

(Meat is normally determined by what is on sale)
Pulled pork sandwiches
Marinated steak
Chicken spiedies
Hamburgers

Pasta salad
Potato salad
Green salad
Coleslaw
Baked beans
Broccoli salad

Hummus and another dip with veggies/pita
Fruit platter
Deviled eggs
Cheese plate and pate with good bread
Bruschetta
Tomatoes, fresh mozz and basil
Homemade muffins
Spinach and artichoke dip or chicken wing dip
Tortilla roll-ups with tuna, spinach and cream cheese or turkey/chicken and pesto

We tend to go overboard on food for parties. I love to cook and my DP is a chef, so we really enjoy preparing lots of things for everyone to enjoy.
