FWIW I thought that the day before O was the statistically highest likelihood of PG, then O day, then O-2. I saw this info posted in this forum a few months ago. Makes sense, I thought: the fertile CF is highest before O and that exists for the sake of sperm getting there at nature's right time. The idea that sperm should already be there when the egg is released also makes sense.

it's slightly different with iui's. they have a tighter time frame, something to do with the washed sperm i think.

ugh. so I didn't O yesterday, either. opk neg again. Seriously, I'm starting to think my body can't do this.
To top it all off- DH and I woke up horribly sick, so anymore BD completely out of question (AND I'm horribly sick on a lovely summer Friday afternoon. lame. lame. lame).
Wonder if my body can't O cuz I'm sick or cuz my body can't O in general?

*sigh*
To put it gently, I'm not loving this cycle.

ETA: do you think my opk turning neg again is a bad thing? I mean, I know it can happen, but it already happened to me once this cycle w/o a noticeable O and I sure don't see many charts on FF where O is the day of a neg opk...

From what I was told, washed sperm lives usually around 6-12 hours. Sometimes 24 in a good envir. So, now, two days later, probably no more washed super-swimmers left up there. Bummer. Trying to find a glimmer of hope that maybe one.. just one... is hanging out...

Sweet. You're like my personal hope-coach for this cycle.

I sometimes have O'd on the positive OPK day...but usually I O the next day or day after....and by that time the OPK is negative.
